Cartouch’Verte

La Cartouch’verte is a laboratory for experimentation and promotion, aiming to make animated filmmaking as eco-responsible as possible.

Based on the logo created when the association was founded in 2020, I designed a graphic charter and developed a communication kit to enhance the association’s credibility and visibility. This was achieved through a coherent, illustrated graphic system that is simple to use daily across all media.

The project: La Cartouch’ Verte contacted me in 2023 to work on their identity, with the following observation: the logo alone was not sufficient for effective communication or recognition online, on social media, or at festivals. The association needed a broader, more practical identity to easily promote its actions and message on a daily basis.

The mascot

After auditing the existing logo and color palette, I began designing a mascot to represent the animation industry. This resulted in three diverse characters, along with a digital stylus—an essential tool and symbol of animation studios.

Typography and colors

The green color palette is directly derived from the existing logo. To make it more dynamic, I proposed adding a nearly fluorescent pink shade, which brings warmth and a modern touch to the overall design.

I also chose to include the Aniara typeface in the charter, to be combined with Avenir (used for the logo). Aniara references activism, climate action, and hand-painted posters.

Social Media

To quickly create content for the association’s social media, I developed a library of illustrations related to its themes and actions (computer equipment, cinema, food, recycling, etc.).
